Prawn and tomato curry

A fabulously simple and tasty Burmese curry for those of us that love prawns.

The Ingredients

The Recipe

  1. Grind (or blend with a little water) the onion and garlic cloves to a paste and bring it to a gentle boil in the oil.
  2. Add the turmeric , salt and pepper to taste, to the oil and fry for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the prawns , fish sauce , coriander leaves , chillies and tomatoes .
  4. Add the water and simmer until the prawns are cooked through and the sauce has been thickened.

Serve with rice and maybe some cool bombay potatoes.
